HomeFairyTech exhibited at Hotel Expo Nigeria 2026, connecting with hotel owners, hospitality professionals, industry partners and booking agents across two days of conversations, ideas and new opportunities.
On September 28 and 29, 2026, HomeFairyTech joined hospitality businesses, technology providers and industry professionals at Hotel Expo Nigeria 2026.
For two days, our booth became a meeting point for people curious about what we are building, people who had already discovered HomeFairyTech online, and businesses looking for better ways to connect with customers, partners and booking agents.

We welcomed an average of 150 visitors each day.
But beyond the number of visitors, what stood out was the quality and variety of the conversations.
We met hotel operators, hospitality associations, resort representatives, transport operators, financial institutions and potential partners. We listened to questions, discussed possible integrations and partnerships, and introduced HomeFairyTech to people who were encountering the platform for the first time.
Our Founder and CEO, Fortune Okeke, also took the conversation to the Hotel Expo stage.
Here is a look back at our two days at Hotel Expo Nigeria 2026.
Day One: Meeting the People Behind Nigeria’s Hospitality Industry

The first day began with a steady flow of visitors to the HomeFairyTech booth.
Some visitors came because they were interested in learning about the platform. Others wanted to understand how HomeFairyTech could fit into the systems and processes they already use.
We also met people who already knew the HomeFairyTech name from social media and other online channels. For some, Hotel Expo was their first opportunity to meet the team behind the platform in person.
One particularly memorable conversation came from a visitor who travelled from Ojo, Lagos to attend the expo.
He introduced himself as the Chairman of the Hotel Association in Ojo, which is connected to the wider Lagos Hotel Association. He told us that he had seen our invitation video and that it was one of the reasons he decided to attend.
It was a small but meaningful reminder that the work we do online can create real-world connections.
And that was exactly what Hotel Expo gave us the opportunity to do.
Day Two: Fortune Okeke Takes the Stage

The second day brought one of the biggest moments for HomeFairyTech at the expo.
Our Founder and CEO, Fortune Okeke, took the stage for a session titled:
“Bridging the Gap Between Hospitality Businesses and Booking Agents”
The topic sits at the centre of what HomeFairyTech is building.
Hospitality businesses need reliable ways to get their properties in front of potential customers. Booking agents need access to reliable inventory they can confidently recommend to their clients.
Yet, in many cases, the connection between these two sides of the industry still happens through scattered conversations, personal networks and informal processes.
Fortune’s session explored this gap and the need for a more structured way for hospitality businesses and booking agents to work together.
The audience remained engaged throughout the presentation, and the conversation continued after he stepped off the stage.
Several attendees approached him directly afterwards to discuss the presentation, ask questions and share their own experiences within the hospitality industry.
For us, that interaction was just as valuable as the presentation itself.
Conversations That Continued Beyond the Stage

The range of businesses we encountered highlighted something important about the hospitality industry: it extends far beyond hotels and shortlets.
Hospitality connects with transportation, finance, technology, tourism, property management and a wide network of service providers.
That made the conversations at Hotel Expo particularly valuable.
We weren’t only introducing Home Fairy Tech. We were learning more about the wider ecosystem we operate in.
Around 150 Visitors Every Day

Across the two days, our booth welcomed an average of approximately 150 visitors per day.
For many of them, it was their first time hearing about HomeFairyTech.
That meant we had plenty of opportunities to explain what we do, who the platform is built for and how hospitality businesses and booking agents can use it.
But the conversations weren’t one-way.
Visitors shared their experiences with us. They told us about the systems they currently use, the challenges they encounter and the opportunities they see within the hospitality industry.
Those conversations gave our team valuable insight into how people across the industry think about technology, bookings and business relationships.
For a company building technology for hospitality, that kind of direct feedback matters.
And Yes, There Was a Prize Wheel

It wouldn’t be a HomeFairyTech booth without a little fun.
Visitors had the opportunity to spin our prize wheel and win HomeFairyTech merchandise, including T-shirts, tote bags, face caps and pens.

The prize wheel helped draw people into the booth, but what happened afterwards was the real highlight.
A quick spin often turned into a conversation.
Visitors would stop to ask about the platform, our work with hospitality businesses and how booking agents could get involved.
It was a simple way to make introductions more relaxed while giving people an opportunity to discover the brand.
What We Took Away From Hotel Expo Nigeria 2026

Events like Hotel Expo offer something that digital campaigns cannot fully replicate: direct conversations with the people an industry is built around.
Online, we can see impressions, clicks, views and other numbers.
At an industry event, we get to hear the questions people ask in real time.
We learn what immediately makes sense to them, what needs more explanation and which problems they are actively trying to solve.
For Home Fairy Tech, one thing became particularly clear: there is a strong need for better connections across the hospitality ecosystem.
Hospitality businesses need access to demand.
Booking agents need reliable inventory.
And both sides need systems that make working together easier to manage.
That is the kind of gap HomeFairyTech is working to address.

More Than an Exhibition

Hotel Expo Nigeria 2026 gave us the opportunity to do more than exhibit.
It gave us the opportunity to listen.
We listened to hospitality professionals talk about their businesses. We heard ideas from potential partners. We answered questions from people discovering Home Fairy Tech for the first time. We reconnected with people who had already been following the brand.
And we watched our Founder and CEO bring the conversation around hospitality businesses and booking agents directly to an industry audience.
Two days at the expo gave us hundreds of conversations.
Those conversations don’t end when the exhibition closes.
They are part of the relationships, ideas and partnerships that will continue to shape what HomeFairyTech builds next.
