HomefairyTech is a hospitality marketplace connecting verified agents with accommodation providers — including shortlets, hotels, and event spaces — to discover inventory, manage bookings, and transact securely through one platform. Payments are protected through Paystack's payment infrastructure, with transparent booking history and in-app communication throughout.
PlatformPayments on HomefairyTech are processed through Paystack, a regulated payment infrastructure provider. When a booking is made, funds are held securely in Paystack's payment escrow — not directly by HomefairyTech — until the applicable booking conditions are met. HomefairyTech facilitates the booking and sets the release conditions, but the underlying funds are held and disbursed by Paystack, so everyone gets a fair, guaranteed outcome. Agent commissions aren't held until the end of a stay — the commission for each night is released as soon as that night is successfully completed.
PaymentsYes. Both roles must complete KYC and biometric checks. Owners cannot publish listings until approved, and agents cannot bid, chat, book, or earn commissions until verification is complete.
VerificationNo. Commissions are reward-based. Commission is not held until an entire stay is completed — the commission earned for each night is released to the agent after that specific night is successfully completed. Agents can withdraw released commission to any Nigerian bank account based on platform rules.
PaymentsNo. Bidding and AI search are premium features. Unsubscribed agents can still browse listings and use direct booking at the standard nightly rate.
